The guys got smacked pretty good this afternoon. Looks like we may be pitching thin. Surprised Hansen didn't make an appearance. Next up TCU.

Looks like baseball got a win tonight vs Ark-Pine Bluff, 5-4. Anyone following this team? Where is Hansen?

Baseball wins another game, 9-7 by scoring 4 in bottom of the 8th. I think we can hit but can we pitch well enough to compete with really good teams (or the mediocre teams of the SLC)?

Congrats to Ryne Randal for 5 hits including a grand slam in the 16-7 win over Ark-Pine Bluff today. Even more importantly we had a pitcher go 6 innings and give up just one run. Well done, Jonathan Nicholson. And there was a Drew Hansen sighting. Way to go guys!

Our hitting definitely looks good this year, it seems like we have more HRs and extra base hits than in years past. Now our pitching needs to improve. I think that'll come in time though.

Congrats to the guys on another win. A low scoring game and the Cats had to pull it out in the 9th, but the rabbit came out of the hat. Now they need to do it twice tomorrow.

A horable day for a baseball game but proud of the guys. They are learning how to win and build this program.

Baseball has given up 7 runs in 6th and 7th innings and is now behind 7-6 in the 2nd game. One out from a sweep but couldn't get the out. Hartford is still batting and we have one at bat left. OK, bottom of 7th (only playing 7 innings) with Trevino, Scott and Claborn to bat.

Tie game as Trevino walks and Watts runs for him and scores on a sac fly from Claborn.

35 degrees and misty and the Cats held it together. They kept some decent pitching going into the 9th. Tied, and yes, with one run and two walks gave them bases loaded. I couldn't believe Hartford did that. We were setting up for bunts to get on base and they were throwing balls. Then, came a great sacrifice fly ball to sweep the series. A really great weekend for ACU sports!!!
