One game down. Now go get that championship! Thanks! The Wildcats are fun to watch. Together we should be a force in the WAC.

I honestly just don't see how we don't handle Nicholls somewhat easily. Sam Houston and SFA are definitely better than Nicholls.
Truthfully if we do indeed win tomorrow and we play in the NCAA Tournament the way we did tonight if we pull a 13-15 seed I could see the potential for us to possibly pull off a win or maybe even two in the tourney. We looked like a very good basketball team tonight.

Or, the exact opposite of that. I don't mind being wrong on that one bit! It was my concern and it was to put to bed lickity split. Yep, we came out firing on all cylinders, but let off the gas early in second half before turning it up to 11. If we play like that tomorrow, I like our chances.

I like our chances as well, but don't want to see any let up.

If the Cats have a strong game tomorrow, and if Arkansas continues to win, I would think ACU could earn a 13-14 seed. That would allow us to avoid some of the top-tier teams. It would take a great performance to win a game, but this group could do it.

Nice big article in the Chronicle this morning! Great PR and picture of Simmons. Crowd was purple which is amazing considering the comparative size of the schools and how close Lamar is to Houston. Probably a big reason we were invited to the WAC.

Lamar, Sam, Nicholls, and other are all playing football in the Spring, so many of their fans, supporters and alumni are going to football games. Perhaps ACU fans are in Katy is because it’s basketball season. This makes the gridders playing in the fall look like a better decision. It really benefited the entire athletics department. The commentators last night mentioned how hard all of athletic staff of schools that were playing all sports right now were working. That has to be exhausting. Thank goodness for good leadership that cares for their people.
It seems like we have a home court advantage in Katy.

Good point, however, since Nicholls is playing Sam in Huntsville, many are doing both the football and basketball games. Talked to a few this morning and that was their plans. They had a decent amount of fans last night, but still outnumbered by purple. I expect even more purple tonight.
