Colonel, you guys are well coached and deserve a lot of respect. You have a fine team. Not sure how you lost two games since your execution is really good. Well done. Thank you for the kind words. I was impressed with your team team too. So many formations, and then variations of the formation. You really kept our D scrambling. Few things we never did have an answer for. We have been hit pretty hard with injuries at the defensive back positions . your coaches did an excellent job of exploiting our inexperience there. All in all I thing our D played pretty well, but offense not so much. We dropped a lot of passes and our young receiving corp did not run very good routes. Mckinney played well at QB. Like you guys, I think that uniform rule is just ridiculous. I have been around football a long time and I have NEVER heard of this much less seen it enforced. Anyway, Good luck to the Wildcats the rest of the season. I will be pulling for you. All you guys have been a pleasure to talk to. I wish we going to continue to play. I think it could be a good rivalry. Good luck with your Homecoming next week. We are off to Central Arkansas for another head knocker, Good Luck !!

Fascinated with fgcolonels observation of "so many formations and variations of formations." With that said why do we run the same 8 or so plays over and over? I can name them, can anyone else? Let's see if Lamar can next Saturday?

I guess the huge win over Lamar got me a little bit too excited for the prospect of a winning season. These last two losses have been tough. A 2-3 record for the rest of the season seems the most likely outcome.

I hope we don’t take Lamar lightly this week. They will be ready to ruin our Homecoming weekend.

Everything went right for us and wrong for Lamar the first game. Not likely to happen again. Still expecting a win but not a blowout.

After a late win on the road against UCA, EKU inches into the FCS top 25. Their defense might be good enough to carry them into the playoffs. Tough November schedule though: on the road against SFA (Nov 6.) and Sam (Nov. 13), followed by Jacksonville St at home (Nov. 20).
