Did I miss any mention of Rayvon Beard? Did he sign or not. The picture of JR Hall did not look good (twitter). Not expecting him to play in the near future. I'm encouraged by all the DB'S we signed but find myself depressed because we missed out on Weaver and Eke. I hope we use the 2 or 3 offers still available wisely. I'm thinking we still need a big play wide receiver. Coastal Carolina signed 21 freshmen and 7 more transfers to add to an already loaded team. I hope we didn't lose ground this year. Looking forward to seeing the product we put on the field in the fall.

Beard and Christy appear to be preferred walk-ons.
I also expect the scholarships we have left will go to transfers.
We are very young at OL and S. After the 4 senior WR's, the rest are red-shirt or true freshmen.
Those are areas that could get a pick up before the season starts.

Big loss IMO. Quality player at a position where we need help. Weaver signed with UIW. He tweeted yesterday "got to get my car." Wonder what that means?...

I continue to be impressed by our coaching staff and players in regard to JR Hall. JR was severely injured in a car accident just days before the signing period. As of this moment in time he still cannot walk. ACU remained steadfast in their commitment to JR by following thru on a scholarship. JR has received many tweets and visits from ACU students, coaches and "future teammates". Last week several coaches took time to visit JR at his home when they were in the area for the Wildcat Caravan. Kudos to a special staff, team, and school.

I am so impressed by the way Coach Collums has handled the JR Hall situation. This is such a class act group of coaches. I see lots of high school coaches appreciate the classiness of our coaching staff, and I think that will translate more and more in the future. If it comes down to ACU and another school, I think high school coaches may encourage a kid to lean more towards ACU because of the respect they have for the ACU football program. That said... I don't think that is why these coaches do what they do. I think these are men of integrity, and they handle this situation (and other situations) with class because that is who they are... not to get better recruits. Proud of these coaches and this team.

Did I miss that a WR/CB from Missouri has signed with the Cats. Was class of 2014, so has some college experience. Someone supply details. 6'1" 180 lbs.

Looks like he's a she and she plays soccer. What a dummy I am sometimes. HUDL does have a Dylan Owens from MO. but I don't think "He's" coming to ACU. Be gentle my friends, I'm old.

I suspected this from pictures I've seen but JR Hall tweeted that doctors have said he won't walk again. I sincerely hope this is not true, he tries awfully hard to be upbeat but every once in a while the seriousness of what's happened to him seems overwhelming. Continue to pray for this young man.

6'2" 205, good speed. I like what I see. Has some excellent "push-off" moves too. And plays some corner back. A great package.

Thrash tweeted out that they received a couple of faxes from players yesterday.
I'm thinking the other is Richard Griffin from Cisco. CB/Safety from the twitter action I've seen. ***According to 24/7 sports Griffin signed. It also says he had offers from Tulsa and UTEP.
Any insiders know anything?

Since Griffin favorited Thrash's tweet, I'd say that's a fair conclusion.
