Interesting that it's all Kansas/Missouri recruits. They are also all under the radar (minimal D1 offers).

Men's track and field coaches are hot on the trail after Cole Crossnoe, from Bushland. This kid would be a huge addition for ACU. This past season he won the Texas Relays Division I 110H (division 1 is for schools from 1A to 4A, plus private schools). Then at the state meet, he won the 4A 300H and highly disappointed to get 3rd in the 110H - he lost by less than a tenth of a second.
In national rankings, he was ranked #37 in the whole U.S. in the 300H and #61 in the 110H. He is also the younger brother of ACU women's tennis player Autumn Crossnoe. I think there is a very good chance that ACU could get him to sign in the early signing period, which kicks off just over one month from now.
I do know that Tech is making a late push for him and the Red Raiders currently have Norman Grimes, Jr. running the hurdles at Tech -- one of the top young hurdlers in the U.S. If Norman's name sounds familiar, his Dad - Norman, Sr - was on the ACU Team of the Decade for the 1980's in football, playing safety for ACU. And, his Mom was probably ACU's first great female sprinter, Deedy Johnson Grimes.

Even if they remained ineligible to play but stayed at the school and finished, would there be anything that bared ACU or any school from still recruiting them to play? Would universities say that is too much time to miss on the official court? If they tried a late transfer to another school to keep playing and within radar's reach of universities, is that even possible? They both would have time to transfer and still play high school level if ineligibility rules didn't prevent them from it.

I read on twitter that Cole Crossnoe has committed to run for TCU. Really surprised me to read that. He appeared to have a terrific relationship with ACU and his sister plays tennis for ACU. TCU is well known for having really good sprinters and little else. Cole is a hurdler and TCU will occasionally have a good hurdler, but right now, they do not have a hurdler on their roster. Cole will have to train by himself. It does not make any sense to me at all.
