Miles McCord. Is that name familiar Cattitude and Toothdoc? I’m impressed that Miles can still play corner at 66 years old. Seriously, I’ll bet you didn’t know that Miles was a highly regarded high school football referee over the las 20 years or so. I see Miles McCord every 6 months. Great guy. He and I use to lose a lot of golf balls together.

He sounds like a stand up guy. I’m calling Lincoln Riley. Dang, that Florida program is an outhouse basement.

Offer out tonight to Iowa Western JUCO LB Averie Habas. He is listed at 6'3 235. I could not find any stats on him. It appears that he sat out last season at Iowa Western, but is a former HS WR and basketball player.

ACU87, don't forget that Bird also was an all-conference triple jumper - I have seen few people who had more hops than Bird Johnson. Didn't Odis Dolton also play a year of football after his B-ball eligibility was over?
Another interesting athlete was Raymond Radway. He came to ACU from Cloud County CC to run the quarter. During the senior year of his track eligibility, he went out for football and ended up playing the following fall and then, using the D-2 "10-semester" clock he laid out of school in the spring of his 5th year and played another year of football the following fall. Raymond even ended up having some "cups of coffee" in the NFL, Arena Football League and the CFL.

Yes, he was. And it was almost as much hearing coliseum announcer and Dean of Students Norman Archibald saying his name after a made basket - "Roderick "BIIIRRRRD" Johnson!"

Was sick to my stomach when he broke his leg on one of the last plays of preseason with the Cowboys.

New Commit- Dustin Inness from Northwest Christian in Arizona. Dustin is a S that is listed at 5'11 180 So is he the first cactus cat? just wondering. PWO. Scholar athlete. Shows great anticipation as a safety taking great angles both in run support and coverage. But I was pleasantly surprised by his impressive deep snapping ability. That's a unique skill that can improve our overall special teams play.

I think that Inness is coming primarily as a long snapper. There will be more competition at that position this fall.
