The real test of his development will be Friday night this week vs. BYU (ESPN 2)

And he throws the first TD pass of the game. Big time credit to the receiver, Harris for making guys miss and going the distance. 7-7 now.

Unfortunately he floats the ball too much and throws an interception after LA Tech takes over on downs. I didn't know about the 4th down fumble rule...

LA Tech struggling in general, but still keeping it closer than other teams so far. Hopefully TA Tech can get rid of their funk. BYU though has some real good talent. 14-7 BYU now.

The two possessions I watched Luke was struggling more than the team. The first possession he had an open receiver but threw a floater late and was intercepted. The second possession he had a wide open receiver but had crossed the line if scrimmage before attempting a throw. If the team can continue to get receivers open and Luke can find a groove they could do some damage.

Luke still struggles some when he is really pressured. He made a few good passes on that last drive, but it still floundered at the end.

I didn't see the game but here was Luke Anthony's final line against BYU: 191 yards (on 18/27 passing), two touchdowns, and an interception. He must have been under pressure all night (11 rushes 28 yards, 3 sacks).

Agree toothdoc. His first drive was really good. He had some occasional good points from there on out. Both the offense and defense struggled as the game went on. BYU was just too good on both sides of the ball and didn't make mistakes. Luke still showed that he is a good QB, but I still saw similar patterns in him. I went to bed before the game was over and was happy to even see the 45-14 final score. LA Tech did better than Navy and Troy.

Well, Luke didn't get to finish the game, but congrats to LaTech for coming from behind to beat UAB in double OT. I believe they are now tied for first in their division.

La Tech playing UNT on CBSSN right now. Luke starting at QB. Great first drive up 7-0.
He got the first two series and another QB has had the last three.

Luke has thrown several really good passes. LT up 35-17. He looks like a different QB than was here last year.
