TE Nathan Jones committed! This is a huge commitment, not just because he is now a 4th generation Wildcat, but because we beat out Vanderbilt (offered), TCU, University of Texas (he visited there) and others for him!

Interesting note on the Nathan Jones commitment. 247 lists him as an OT. I think he will play TE again for Brock this year, but I will be watching his hudl tape to see if that is indeed the case

This could be huge yes. If he indeed will be a TE can we please utilize him? Past indicates that we have had talented TE's but seems they spent most of their time on the sidelines. I do hope this year that changes. Here's hoping.

Given the southwest edge of the Metroplex has given generously to the offensive side of the ball, here’s praying the Metroplex’s north side will be similarly generous with a 2nd generation commitment to the defensive side of the ball! Go Wildcats!! Beat SMU!!

Nathan following in the footsteps of his family tree is a most fortunate thing for ACU. In several ways he could be the pick of the 22' class. My prediction is he wins lots of honors for the Wildcats.

Either way, I see big things ahead for young Mr Jones.

Fairly confident we will see a new commit on the offensive side of the ball in the near future.

Now, can we keep him? He's getting TONS of interest. Brock AD and coaches do a great job of promoting their athletes, regardless of sport.

Any speculation on why? Is it distance b/w ACU and home (metro KC)?

Any speculation on why? Is it distance b/w ACU and home (metro KC)? He got an offer from SIU after commuting to us. Not sure if that was a factor.

If he is commuting to us, no wonder he is not coming. Sorry, had to.
I don't think it is necessarily the SIU offer that caused him to back out. Jeremy Crabtree who is a highly regarded analyst said he thinks big things are coming for him. I think many schools are starting to look at him and more offers will start rolling his way soon
