Hmmm. My apologies for my smart-aleck remark about Mt Ford. While I appreciate knowing more of his career than I did prior, I knew the stadium name included a middle initial for a reason. That said and understanding there’s a lot going in the world, I drove to Indy back in March on faith, and it was rewarded! Making a similar drive tomorrow. Go Wildcats!! Beat Peruna!!
P.S. No to The Blvd. I’ll be a the the ACU pregame.

I think that’s why they typically go out of their way to say Gerald J ! Ford stadium NOT Gerald Randolph Ford - 40th President of the United States - SMU is lucky to have a generous donor like Mr. Ford -

Just for the record, Gerald J. Ford, the lead donor for and for whom the SMU stadium is named is Gerald Joseph Ford. During his public school and SMU days and thereafter in his adult life, he has been called Gerry by everyone who knows him. As a kid growing up, he was called by his parents, and most everyone who knew him, Gerry Joe.
