Thread is sticky this week only.
Spread based on Massey Ratings as of Friday. Note, the spread is 21.5, not 21.
O/U 62.5 Predict the score in your replies.

Wow, I am surprised the spread is only 21 points -- I had read 30.5 earlier in the week. I am guessing something like 42-10 for SMU.

Massey is probability based and neutral. I think the score will be over 62.5. Hopefully not 54-10. Im predicting 45-24. Cats barely beat the spread.

I don't think this game is on the board most places. I think 30.5 as a betting line is more realistic than 21.5. Massey predicts 42-21. so I thought i'd use that one.

Yes, the question is whether SMU gets to 50 and we come up with three scores. If we follow Massey (42-21), with few if any injuries, that's a respectable showing.

The questions for me are: is our offense 2 yds and a cloud of pellets and 5 yd pass routes or a diversified offense using many weapons to all parts of the field (wide, middle, deep, counters, etc.).

If we see the quick pitch in the first series, SMU scores 50+ and we're in for a long season. 42-17 smu

I just hope we don’t see the jet sweep more than once.

I'm watching the diverse and creative offense that South Dakota State is showing Colorado State. Creative motion, routes, strong running game, and offensive line.

Is it possible that play selection last year was limited by personnel?

My money is on 2 yard outs, bubble screen & jet sweeps into the short side of the field. But i’m hoping for quick hitting power run football and play action with deep crossing routes…

Is it possible that play selection last year was limited by personnel? It’s been the same play selection the last four years…
