Saturday is Senior Day. I actually like that they decided to do this now, than for the last home game of the season. Often, attendance is really, really low, because we have been out of postseason competition. I was told last week to expect 8-12 players that have decided this is their last year to play.
Here are the names I think we can expect- QB Mansell- this is his 5th year of college and though he is listed as a Sophomore, I am not sure he comes back to play
QB Sema'J Davis- I really hope he is there on Saturday and gets honored
RB Tyrese White- this is his 4th year in the program, but he is listed as a Sr, so don't be surprised if this is his last season
RB Robert McKnight- 5th year of playing college football
OL Zach Terry- 5th year of playing college football
DE Garviea Freeny- 6th year of playing college football
LB Hunter Kier- 5th year of playing college football
LB John Brannon- 5th year of playing football, though technically he has another year available if he wants to use it
S Koy Richardson- definitely his last year
LS David Stone- 5th year of playing college football
P Logan Burke- listed as a Sr

The official list of seniors- RB Robert McKnight OL Zach Terry DE Garviea Freeny LB Hunter Kier S Koy Richardson S Brian Bullock K Oscar Hernandez LS David Stone it is very telling as to who was not on this list -- Peyton Mansell, John Brannon, and Tyrese White. It would appear that the door is being left over for them to come back for an extra COVID-redshirt season.

Nobody in particular but some 4-year guys may be on track to graduate Dec '22 rather than May '22 and will take the opportunity to play one more.

I have not read what the NCAA policy will be after this year. For the fall of '21, any players who lost their senior to COVID could come back to campus and NOT count against the 63 scholarship maximum -- the decision of whether to return or not is left up to the individual school. After this season I don't know if the COVID redshirt year will simply be treated as a standard redshirt (hence they count against the scholarship limit) or if COVID redshirts will receive special treatment in their senior seasons until ALL the COVID redshirts have trickled through the player pipeline.
