Would love to put a wrench in their season, but it would have to be the perfect game for us and a disaster for them. They will probably try to just keep running it down our throats with a few passes in between. If it is a windy day again, I am not sure how the passing will be. I hope we can slow the run down and get a couple of turnovers. Both of those will be tall orders. Our trick plays we ran last Saturday will probably not be as successful against the Kats, so curious to see what else we can do as this is defintely a game where throwing 10-20 yards east or west won't work. Sam is very big and fast defensively. How is our OL and DL health wise? I agree with others that I would love every effort made to get both students and fans into the stands. Shut down tailgating early if we have to as we need every edge we can get. Heck, give away some free hotdogs to the students if we have to, do something.

Agree, we need to have a near perfect game to keep the game close. I do not believe they are unbeatable, though. If we can win the turnover margin like last week, who knows what can happen. According to Massey, we are 15.5 point underdogs and some sometims 15.5 point underdogs win. SFA outplayed Sam, I am not saying we are at SFA's level but we have nothing to lose and I think the team will be ready to play. Go Wildcats!

The wind could be a factor. That would be a plus with the kinds of receiving / passing options they have.
The Bearkats have such an experienced defense that it is hard to envision us lining up and running the ball down their throats. But college football is an any given Saturday proposition.
Saturday would be a fine time to play our best game and contain Schmid when he scrambles.

One of the field goals Zepeda tried seemed to take a left turn into the wind.

I think we can work the wind in our favor, but we will have to work some other things in. I agree that containing their QB, while covering recievres will be a challenge. If they have to resort to running it more, I hope that plays into our hands.

#1 Sam Houston -20.5 @ Abilene Christian O/U 61.5 I know these odds vary depending on the site. Massey has Sam Houston as a 15.5 point favorite.

Anyone watching Duke play football tonight? If so, is Parmelly playing. Haven't kept up with him this season.

Switched over to Duke vs Louisville and see that Parmelly is playing. Both our grad transfers starting at bigtime programs. I guess we can get top talents to come to ACU.

Never thought I’d be wearing shorts to a football game in Abilene the weekend before Thanksgiving.

I hope I am wrong, but I think today will be ugly in many, many areas
We will have less than 200 total yards
We will be minus 3 in the turnover battle
There will be more Sam Houston St fans than ACU fans
This message board will be hot
