FCS Footbal just tweeted the following:
"North Dakota has swapped out a nonconference game next season with Abilene Christian replacing Dixie State on Oct. 29 in Grand Forks."

Thanks for shafring as a September 29 date makes more sense for non-conference. Also, with the Stone Earle news, curious to see UNT on the 2023 schedule.

My first question -- will either one of the PVAM or North Dakota games end up as a home-and-home series? That would help in future scheduling. Second question is - how much will Mizzou pay us for coming to Columbia? With Mizzou being a state university, we will eventually get to see how much this might be. Last - how much are we paying WNMU to come to Abilene?
I like seeing ACU play 2 OOC games against FCS schools. I also like that our money game is not an incredible mismatch. Mizzou is a solid team that is right square in the middle of the standings in the best FBS conference in the U.S. I bet that Catfanatic is at that game! WNMU is a very bad D2 school - several steps below UTPB, who we handled easily last year. The cost of bringing them in will be low and it should be a game that the new coaching staff uses to see every player on the roster.

ACU us scheduled to play @ Prairie View next year. fbschedules.com/ncaa/abilene-christian/North Dakota doesn’t show up on our future hone game schedule but we do start a home-away with Northern Colorado.

Full football schedule is out. ACU has 5 home games vs Lamar (Sept 1), Prairie View A&M (Sept 10), Western New Mexico (Sept 24), Southern Utah (Oct 14) and SFA to end the season (Nov 19). We have 6 away games vs Missouri, Utah Tech, Sam Houston, UIW, North Dakota and Tarleton.

Did not realize until today Dixie State (excuse me, the Utah State Senate) changed the school's name to Utah Tech two months ago. Whatever works.

Crazy schedule - three home games in September, 1 home game in each of October and November (I guess we are pretty sure when Homecoming will fall). We open the season on a Thursday night with a conference game and then, don't have have another conference game until exactly 1 month later. We will already have 2 games under our belt when we play Mizzou.

Interesting note about Sam Houston and the WAC...

Very interesting. Do they want to take another shot at the FCS crown and play catchup with scholarships after they transition to FBS? They could probably beat 70-70% of FBS schools with 20 fewer scholarships already. It certainly helps ACU and the WAC put together a football schedule for 2022.

Here’s Massey’s rating for all 130 FBS schools to use as a guide. masseyratings.com/cf2021/fbs/ratings‘My take is Sam would win 75% or more of Games against the bottom 30 and few if any against the top 50.

Seems more realistic than 70% of all FBS schools. I think you have to consider what conference they are going to. If they were clearly in the top 70% of FBS they probably should be contending for the CUSA title. I'd be surprised if that happened for a few years at least.
