ACU and its students/supporters/constituents should be beyond grateful for Jack Rich and what he has done for ACU over the past decades. His leadership and decision making re: the endowment fund has been superb. Not only that, he and his family have donated significant funds for various projects at ACU. He should be given some type of special honor for all that he has done for ACU. He is also a very humble man, a true example of a servant leader. I wonder how many graduates and current students even have any knowledge of this. +1

There may be men his equal but no one is better. He’s tireless, principled and committed. It takes a big man to get on his knee to talk to a 4 year old about ACU. He comes from a special family.

I didn't necessarily want to start an entirely new thread, but this covers a gap between how much money the university has/brings in vs how much it actually costs. We all know that construction costs skyrocketed in the last couple of years and that, along with supply issues, has slowed some projects. Even when completed though, how well will they be able to be utilized by potential students? This new housing is expensive. Affordable campus housing is disappearing, which will make it even harder for prospective students to enroll. Does that push even more to distance learning programs? Does the university find a way to help offset those costs? Is it just the way the cookie crumbles? acuoptimist.com/2022/10/freshman-village-is-putting-too-high-a-price-tag-on-attendance/
