Questions. Have any Catchatters been to the new MHBU facilities? Was the SUB included in the 20 mil. price tag and did they finish within budget? If so, someone needs to confer with Drayton McLane, seems as though he received a big bang for his buck. ACU could follow suit and incorporate something similar to the SUB in conjuction with a field house/athletic facilities in the South end zone. This might get some of those students who otherwise wouldn't step foot in a football stadium interested in what goes on in one on a Saturday. When I was a lad I attended a summer conference at the University of Arizona. We stayed in a dorm built into the lower level of the stadium. That would be a sure way to get students to the game

That's pretty impressive, gopher, if they finished within budget and without hiring illegals. Oops, let the "I" word slip out.

50 mil. makes more sense.

Just saw that HKS, Inc, the company that designed Wildcat Stadium, also designed this year’s Super Bowl stadium, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Drayton McClane brings back memories. He was a very generous guy. When he owned the Astros, he would invite me to games and to sit in his box behind home plate -- you could lean over and see the radar gun each pitch. Anyway, he was supportive of all kinds of initiatives (and he had a great cook bringing stuff into his box.) I did not know he was a MHB supporter, but that does not surprise me. He was involved in things from Houston to Waco (and beyond), where his trucking company was headquartered. Belton was just down the road. Super nice guy I thought.
