I really wish Walton would have stayed. He really made an impact the few times he played. During the spring game, Smith started, Dobbins was 2nd string and White was 3rd. One of these 3 needs to become the go to guy. It will be nice to see a RB get the ball and then stay on the field and get another carry. That hardly ever happened last year. Can Dobbins run like he did his Fr. year? Smith seems to be the player they are most comfortable throwing the ball to out of the backfield. Look for White to get a decent amount of carries, especially in short yardage situations. Which Fr will get some playing time? All 3 have a chance to be really good.
All in all, this group looks solid. If the OL can open up holes, they have the chance to be pretty productive

I think we are better, but a lot comes down to Dobbins' strength/health and how ready the new kids are. IF the OL proves better, then a lot can happen.

I voted improved based on the fact that they are all a year older and healthy. Plus, Smith looked exceptional during the Spring game.

I voted better as well. I’m optimistic that our OL will be better and at least one of our freshmen will be ready to play.

I second the wish that Walton had stayed. I think he could have been really good. The big question to me is whether Dobbins can get back to his freshman level. He never seemed like himself last year because of nagging injuries. Also wondering whether Wishert will stay at running back or be moved somewhere else.
