I thought I would throw some humor into the poll
I voted we are about the same. I wish Lutz had stayed. However, we NEVER used him enough in his time here. Typically it was throw back passes, where the OL and QB rolled out one way and he went the other. This group is very young, but I think there is a good amount of talent. Miles and Caldwell primarily played on special teams, but I expect them to be more involved with the offense this year. Cooper is huge and I think could end up being pretty good. Castles has big time potential and it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being the starter. I love that we got Lebechi. He is not the biggest guy, but I think he is a solid addition. Overall, I'm excited to see what this unit can become

Mavsman pretty much summed up my thoughts about the TE's. I hate losing Lutz -- as he was the only proven quantity at TE. If Jed Castles is as good as he appears he could be and if particularly Caldwell and Cooper step up, which I think is entirely possible, then this group is much better than last year.

Adding Lebecki makes this group better than last year. Castles and Caldwell may well be the starter and backup this year but Lebecki is a talent that will be in the lineup sooner than later methinks.

Until we prove that we are going to use them better I won't vote them better.

Oldtimecat, you might be right. Cooper is immensely talented. That being said, often times, new staffs want to put THEIR guys on the field. There is often little loyalty to players that committed under the previous coaching regime. I'm not saying that is the case here, but it could be

I am a big fan of Colt Cooper's -- he is a superb athlete and I am a bit biased, because he is also on the T&F team as a thrower. Very quick in the ring and a big strong kid.

Time will tell about all the ones he brought in.
