Okay, I am a pushover for banana pudding. This year, I just love that the coaches appear to actually know the player's names and are willing to talk to us - the fans. I may be giving this coaching staff the benefit of the doubt in that regard. However, I reserve the right to change my mind entirely after I see the team with my own eyes tomorrow night.

You still here? I figured your connection to ACU football had either been fired, transferred, or graduated. Still here. I'm just not easily distracted by coach speak and banana pudding like you guys are when it comes to evaluating a team. Were you able to make it to the open scrimmage. I was not able to. My seven win season pick was strictly made from the team choosing blue bell cookies & cream, Pistachio, Rocky Road, chocolate w/marshmallows, vanilla, Oreo and mint chocolate chip as their favorite ice cream flavors. I forgot about the banana pudding, I’m gonna switch my pick to 8-3.

Hope we have practiced in wet weather... slippery balls produce strange outcomes. But I am sticking with 6-5. I thought about the wet field today and how it will affect the game. By gametime the rain should be done, but the field could still be a little slick depending on how much we get during the day. I watched a tiny bit of practice yesterday while walking by. There were a couple of small slips here and there but not more than a handful. Still, it could slow down our ability to cut quickly. I don't think we will be in any different boat than Lamar will be and the weather itself will be nice. Over-all I would still have cooler weather and a slightly wet field than 100+ degrees and guys cramping out. Either way, I am just ready for the game and the pudding...

Ok you pudding eaters. I was optimistic last year. I’ll Be a realist this year and predict a 6-5 record. I just hope all the high dollar people in the seat backs eating pudding and chicken fajitas actually stand up and cheer this year. Going to ACU football games has been like going to an opera.

If you come on here and start disparaging the banana pudding you can bet I’ll toss you off the board. Some things are just sacred.

If we have a season record pool that pays to the best guess at the end of the season, I will go with 8-3 because most of you all said 7-4. If I were to predict a record based on the roster, coaches, and schedule, 7-4 would be my pick. I will say 7-4.
The banana pudding will go undefeated, and my O/U of weight gain is at 9.5 pounds.

After 5 games played, I think 7-4 is very achievable, and 8-3 is possible. Those who guessed 4-7 definitely didn't drink the kool-aid.

After 9 games, we are 6-3 and have a winning record for the season. 7-4 is more likely now. 8-3 is not out of reach either.

After 10 games, we are 7-3 which was my predicted win total, but we will be favored to win our 8th game. An 8-3 record gets us a playoff berth I believe.
