Was looking at old Prickly Pear annuals from 1928 and 1929. ACC (the name at the time) was pretty good in football. I noticed we beat Texas Tech (then the Matadors) and Sam Houston. I think the 27-28' year team was 6-1-1. That was the era when the administration building was built and the first house was built on the "hill."

I have seen several articles from our SID"s office about ACU playing games in enclosed stadiums. They all leave out the fact that we played at least one and I think two games at Jerry World. Wonder why that is?

Good question - I was at one of them. Me, too. The UNA game. I’m fairly certain the game I saw was against Tarleton. Unfortunately, my son (who was a student then) had a seizure towards the end of the game. We did get to check out the medical facilities at the stadium and walk out on the field once all the excitement was over.

I know that I went to one ACU game at Jerry World and am almost certain that I went to two games there.

In 2011 we played UNA in JerryWorld and lost 23-17. The next year we played Tarleton there and won 34-31.

Besides Arlington and SMU, the only other Dallas games I remember going to was TAMU Commerce at the Cotton Bowl. We won in OT. Was that 2009?

Yes, 2009. I was sitting right behind the Cuffee's when Drew intercepted the pass in overtime and went about 80 yds for the TD. Thought he might have a heart attack.
