How many of our guys who entered would have been starters besides Tyrin? Tristian got some starts I believe, IF I remember correctly. I think you could call Blair a starter.

I think you could call Blair a starter. Do you think Blair will kick for A&M? that's a good question? I'm curious to know how many ACU players (other than Jack Gibbens) transferred out and actually started full time at a FBS program? I'm sure there are exceptions, but it is my understanding a player's athletic ability normally determines FBS or FCS opportunities.
I'm not here to bash any player. For whatever reason, we would all agree Blair did not have the season we were accustom to seeing from him. With that being said, in a down kicking year our ACU kickoff return defense lead both the FSC & FBS ranking last season with an average return of 11.73 yards and a 72% touch-back parentage. Last season Texas A&M had the 131 ranked kickoff defense with an average return of 33.33 yards. I would think Blair will get an opportunity to start on kickoff and if he can improve/regain his field-goal form, i think he has the leg to compete for field goals.
Best of luck to all the current and former players. More importantly, I'm excited and getting ready for Wildcat Football this season....Go Cats beat A&M!!!

You have earned your user name. Blair has had some good offseason workouts and practices, so let's hope his kicking is back on the field. I will never be an A&M fan, but glad that they brought him on.

Blair is a fine young man, an excellent student, and a really good kicker. Last year was a total fluke for him with the missed field goal attempts. I really wonder whether being named a captain put extra pressure on him, especially after he had a couple of misses. I have never been more disappointed for one of our guys and how terrible he felt about the misses. It hurt to see the look in his eyes after the games. Am wondering what his scholarship situation is. In any event, I hope that he goes to A & M, wins the starting job, and has an excellent year. He deserves it. Will be very interesting if we get to watch him kick against us.

How many of our guys who entered would have been starters besides Tyrin? Abner Dubar started nine games last year. Chike Nwankwo started six. Triston Anderson started eight. Davion Johnson started two. There are a few guys who could have potentially started at ACU this year.
