SFA Leonard Bishop, assistant to Mark Kellogg at SFA for the last 9 years has been named the LadyJacks new head coach. Meanwhile, Zya Nugent is following Kellogg to West Virginia. She did not play last year due to knee surgery so has at least 2 and maybe 3 years left. Also heading to WVU is Jordan Harrison, the freshman phenom who was WAC freshman of the year last season. Two starters, Angel Scott and Avery Brittingham are also in the portal.

Do I remember that ACU offered Evie Goetz some time ago? She was offered in the same class as Bella. As I recall, we were in the running until TCU appeared. She is now in the transfer portal and at 6’1 could play just about anywhere. Has 3 years remaining, I think. She might be the mystery visitor but I don’t really know. She would be an excellent addition.

Utah Valley
Portal:
Shay Fano, 6-0, F, Jr. (12.1 ppg, 7 rpg)
Jaeden Brown, 6-1, F, Soph. (14.6 ppg, 9.3 rpg)
Mae Afoa, 6-1, F, Fr. (4.1 ppg)
Senior:
Kayla Anderson
The Wolverines lose some really good players. Even Anderson who was hurt most of 2022-23 was the starting PG in 21-22.
They have a bunch of young players coming back but they need some new blood to get out of the basement.
