September first is the day the SERC building is Opened. It is a grand day for ACU, for Abilene, for Texas, and for the country.

Yes, starting at 11:30am on 9/1/2023. All are welcome from 11:30am until 1:00pm, and you can tour the facility and hopefully see down into the reactor bay. By the way, there will be some officials earlier from places like the Department of Energy or so I am told. But at 11:30 it will be open to the community.

My son is a licensed nuclear power plant operator. Wish you guys could recruit him. Unfortunately, he makes about what the head football coach does.

I really hope I can go by and tour it. I am supposed to do a go-live at one of surgery centers that day, so not sure I will be able to break away.
