Unlike anything else in the USA, the wonderful Dillard Science and Engineering Research Building was opened Friday. The event was attended by our four universities as well as people from all around the country. It is a unique facility designed to lead society into the next generation of nuclear reactors that are super safe and much less costly. People were so very excited and there were a few tears of happiness on some (OK, maybe only on me.) Phil Schubert did a great job at the dedication. Every Wildcat can be so very proud of this major accomplishment. Just listening to the distinguished visitors was thrilling.

Drove by there as we were leaving town. Parking lot was full and cars down the street. Very proud of this facility and the people, including you, rc, who put this together.

All the credit goes to Rusty Towell and the team and especially Doug Robison. They and the partner universities have all done the heavy lifting, and of course we owe the Dillards our heartfelt thanks.

Got to tour the SERC this past Friday. What an amazing addition to the campus. Got to see rc at the facility -- that facility is on the ACU campus due to rc's influence. The molten salt reactor project is already putting ACU on the map nationally and internationally and the future opportunity for prestige AND income for the school is staggering.
