Glad we finally swept a series, wish it was against a team besides someone like UT.

Losing game one to UTRGV and not seeing any sign of turnaround yet. I know, typical game 1 for us. Hopefully we have a typical game 2-3. UTRGV could win more than one though. We just aren't getting the hits.

ACU wins game two 8-6 so now the pivotal game three determines the series. Not sure of timing.

Cats are asleep right now. I wasn't able to catch the earlier part of the game and our scores are spread out but the last two innings for us we look real slow offensively and defensively.

This one should have gone the other way, but sometimes we just don't play up to par. Lanham had a weak start and that was unexpected for sure.

I think you can say we have had a decent year, but unless something drastically changes, we aren't even in the hunt for a conference championship.

Cats win against UIW 9-4, but what was up with the score board? Was that on purpose, because they never turned it off...

I was at the game but I don't know what you mean about the score board. What happened? As to the game, I have never seen such low speed pitching, not even in high school. UIW pitchers were throwing their fast balls at 82 to 88 and off speed at 73-75, just lobbing the ball up to our batters -- and we really struggled hitting such junk stuff. Finally late in the game they had a pitcher that could hit 90 mph, and we finally started getting solid contact. Back in the day of the first radar guns, we had 15 year olds that threw harder than UIW.

Thanks. the loudspeakers were louder than normal, painful in fact. The feedback was so great the singer of the National Anthem had to sing without the microphone. It would just shriek if he held it up to his face. I was a painful sound. My seat would vibrate when music or announcement came on. It was very, very strange. How often does your seat vibrate???

Was the scoreboard issue only visible on tv? I certainly noticed it as well but I figured it was some kind of technical issue involving the broadcast camera that was behind home plate? I thought I caught quick views of the scoreboard from a sideline camera that didn’t have the flickering.
Whatever the light issue, it was nice to finally beat UIW at something.
