Have heard that two years of high quality pitching coaches (Cribby last year, Josh Scott this year) have made a huge difference. As opposed to 1, maybe 2 pitchers who touch the low 90's, apparently we now have 6-7 guys throwing in that range. This cannot be but a good thing.

I was sorry to see him go back to the Pacific Northwest. Good to hear Scott is a capable replacement. A fastball in that range is indeed a good thing as long as it goes along with at least one other pitch.
