This does not include the covid year which gives players another year. As far as I can tell, Moore played in one game at Texas. He has had surgery on both knees, so I don't know if he received a med redshirt + the original redshirt he took his 1st year.

Let’s see if we are in the same page UT 2018- rs yr 1 on the 5 year clock 2019- year 2 2020- year 3 (does not count due to COVID). ACU 2021x year 3 do over. “The COVID bonus” 2022- year 4 2023- year 5 If he’s granted a medical redshirt he could conceivably play one more year. Without knowing his plans or area of grad study I’d guess he will finish a master’s degree in 2 and get on with life?

Again, looking back at films. Colt Cooper says he wants to be the best TE to ever play at ACU. He might be that but in his film I think he could make an impact at MLB or maybe even that big back we need to get the tough 1 yders. Quite a versatile young man and a power lifter to boot. Glad he's coming our way.

Did OL Garrity or Farrar from Texas Tech or Willie Tyler from Texas sign with anyone yet?

No, all 3 are still out there. Willie Tyler is a pipe dream. He is one of the most sought after OL players on the transfer market. Farrar is close behind. That being said, we are NOT limited to those 3 players. The staff is looking at other transfers and more will come open in the Spring.
I have heard one football guru say that for FCS teams playing in the spring, it will be like a showcase for other teams.

We should move up a ton after the first signing. I’m impressed it was kept a secret for so long. Sounds like you have insider info. Interesting. I look forward to finding out about our mystery signing, Also, 247 doesn’t have OL Jackson Andrews, as an ACU commit. He’s a two star guy with offers from FBS schools so he will give us a boost as well. There was very little difference between many of the schools in the rankings. Just a few quality signings should move us up. 247 lists Jackson Andrews as a 3star. Others list as 2star.

This is shaping up to be a pretty good recruiting class for the Cats. One more OL who can play and a WR who can catch and run and we will have done well. I like several of the players with few or -0- stars and a couple of walk ons. I really like Kyle Pointer off the edge. An outside LB with 4.7 speed. At 220 he's a little light to play DE but when he lines up on the line, he can really set the edge. At 6'3" he can realistically put on 10-15 lbs. He could be a good one. Isaiah Pedack is another player with lots of upside. At 255 he's a little light for a college DT but his explosion off the line is great. Once again at 6'3" he can add some weight. These guys may be "projects" but I like what I see in them.

Lol! I can't yet, but let's just say the staff is focusing in on some players to finish off the 2021 class. Again, they will continue to look at guys from now until August.
However, I want to try and get folks on here excited when I see/hear something. So, expect a lot more of that from now on

However, I want to try and get folks on here excited when I see/hear something. So, expect a lot more of that from now on In the spirit of building momentum about recruiting, I can report that the ACU campus is open and seeing a steady diet of students on recruiting tours. Granted, these aren't official NCAA recruiting visits, but if a family wanted to see what ACU and Abilene are like, that's possible now. The same cannot be said for most others colleges and universities. This is a tribute to the rigorous approach taken by the ACU administration in offering healthy, clean spaces. The student body has bought in on masking, social distancing, and the entire community (faculty, staff, and students) have pulled together to lower the number of active cases and help everyone continue their education journey. That's what really matters. Where many are at a standstill or online only, ACU is moving forward. Now that the city/county has fallen below the case threshold levels, we're open even more now. All of this still requires diligence, but I think it can only help athletic recruiting.
