I knew I should have made a note of his name. I can't find the tweet now. He is a running back and also does power lifting (he was wearing a Temple power lifting tshirt). I think his height was only 5'8 or so. Does that narrow it down enough? I think if I saw the name again I would probably recognize it.

RB Samari Howard is your guy Yea thats him, he's legit. If he was just a bit taller he'd probably be getting some offers. Great receiving threat out of the backfield. Our OC does a great job at utilizing him. Not just on screens and in the flats but down the field too. He was on our state qualifying 4x100 also.

Is everyone excited about the O-line Newcomers: Reese Moore - Smart young man graduated from UT. However football wise he only played in 2 games in his UT tenure did not start or letter Jackson Andrews - High School Derek Simmons - 2020-21 played/participated in 1 game out of 5 games and did not start Cohen Carpenter - High School - twitter shows received DII and NAIA offer to play Collin James - 2019 shows he played in 0 games in college tenure...no 2020 stats Kaleb Chester - played in 3 games in his college tenure and did not start at the DII level It truly floors me that ACU can't attract some stud O-Linemen. Hopefully the collage newcomers will come in and show they can play. Maybe these JC transfers will come in work themselves into the starting lineup and make positive impact on the field for ACU, i find it hard to believe it will happen when they did not start for their JC or participate in more 2 games in three years. Maybe the two high school kids will be the next Jacob Thielen...I truly hope this is the case. Me personally I'm not sure what i'm most excited about high school or JC players. I'll just have to wait and see. Best of luck to all the new and former players. Reese Moore was a 4 Star recruit out of high school. He played TE then and was an All-State basketball player. He is extremely athletic. Just because he didn’t play much at UT does not mean he is not a quality addition to ACU. This could be the best recruit ACU has gotten since Danieal Manning or Tony Washington. From a star prospective he will be one of the highest rated players on the field. At 6'7 304 lbs i hope he is healthy and bull dozes people lined up in front of him. My concern flag is always raised...whenever a 4* Red shirt sophomore player at that size, with that projected talent and you don't sniff the field in a blowout a game against UTEP. Texas played 10 linemen (starters 2 - SR, 1- JR & 2 SO) (Backup linemen 1-SR, 1-SO & 3 Fr played) in the UTEP game. If he is healthy and his head is in the right place after reality check he received at UT, he should be able to dominate in our conference. I hope for Reece & ACU's sake he comes in healthy and dominates.

Moore did hurt his knee in August 2019 after redshirting, and that injury was aggravation of what he had done to his knee in High School. The 247 Horns site notes that he was working as the second string left tackle at that point.

These points reiterate that there was a reason he left UT. Tempered expectations with power 5 transfers and hope they are healthy and more than hype.

I read in 2018 he redshirted as a Freshman. I hope for his sake he stays healthy. Injury, rehabilitation, then re-injury can be mentally taxing and cause doubt to creep into a players head. He has the ability to be a real player at ACU if healthy.

Anything happening in Wildcatland in regards to recruiting? Was Ondelacy the only offer out of last weeks camp?

CJ Tillman, a freshman DL transfer from Presbyterian, committed today. Bio says he started the final 6 games of the spring season for them.
