I've never had problems with the sound on ESPN broadcasts. I have had no sound on any ACU broadcasts that haven't been picked up by other outlets.

OK, so I was having this issue as well but I didn't realized the volume within the ESPN+ screen was muted. I had laptop plugged into TV so I was messing with TV volume and laptop volume. Finally realized the muted volume control on the ESPN screen. Hope that helps, but you may have already tried this. It is the ACU TV that I had no sound. ESPN works fine.

I have no clue... but I did notice some volume inconsistencies when ACU-TV commercials were on ESPN+ The volume would be off then slowly increase to normal. Probably not the same as your problem.

Today, the volume started off really low when ACUTV was broadcasting through ESPN+. It slowly moved up a little bit without me doing anything. That makes me think that it's on their side.

Matt Brown will have a WAC update on Twitter sometime today. Some interesting tidbits about future membership and WAC football.

Matt Brown will have a WAC update on Twitter sometime today. Some interesting tidbits about future membership and WAC football. OWC, no hints..... You are going to make us wait??? He’s already Tweeted all he can confirm- there are no current talks with any other FCS school (apparently efforts to poach another Big Sky Conference member have failed). Any new schools will be either a D2 move up or a current non football member of the WAC (such as UTRGV). The WAC will request a waiver from the 6 eligible member rule for an automatic qualifier for the FCS playoffs but even if the waiver is denied it is very likely that the conference champ will be offered an at large bid. This isn’t a sticking point for the Texas4. He’s asked me not to share some additional specific details that he hasn’t confirmed for certain. I have to respect his request. In any case, the information might prove to be inaccurate.

Thamel goes on to say the goal is for the new conference to move up to FBS by the end of the decade. I’m not sure how realistic that is for ACU?

Thamel goes on to say the goal is for the new conference to move up to FBS by the end of the decade. I’m not sure how realistic that is for ACU? A decade is a long time for a potential move. How much more exposure does ACU have now when compared from 2011? What about the decade from 2001 through 2010? How much money has the Athletic Program raised in those periods? How much has the endowment grown? Honestly, I think almost anything is realistic when an institution plans for that long.

A few tweets from Matt Brown who has been all over this from the beginning- Matt Brown knows what he’s talking about. Schools most likely to leave: California Baptist and Chicago state. Cal Baptist will try to replace Cal Riverside in the Big West if they drop athletics, which seems more likely by the day. Chicago State is in terrible shape financially. Their athletic budget is lower than low. I can’t imagine that they will be able to continue on in the WAC. Schools most likely to be added: WTAMU. A current RMAC school from Colorado is also a possibility School most likely to add football: UTRGV. They already have a stadium and have completed a feasibility study. Both TAMU and UTRGV are part of university systems with enough resources to make it happen if they so choose,

Why no "stirrings" from Angelo State and Midwestern State?

Bogey, that is likely due to many of the concerns many of us have about making this jump to the WAC. Many institutions across America are in tough situations, and that was the case before this pandemic ever hit. The cost of travel, etc, will go up. I do agree with Jamin that if the desire is to move up to FBS, 10 years gives ACU time to see if they can make that happen or not.
I like what ACU is doing. ACU Dallas, though it took some time, has really gotten off the ground. The new dorms that will be going up will only help make the campus look great. You add the new Moody Coliseum and that will only add to potential growth.
I would like to see the rest of the stadium completed. That has seemed to drag out for far too long.
