On the COVID front, SFA flew all the way to Connecticut for a holiday tournament only to find out that one member of their travel party has COVID so they literally had to turn around and go home. Sad trombone sound. |

Pretty decent first half for the first game. Hopefully can shoot a little better from inside the arc in the second half.

I'm really surprised Pleasant and Simmons didn't score. I know at one time pleasant was zero of six from the floor.

I was able to watch the Live Stats the 2nd half. Seems like a pretty dominant performance with a lot of 3 pointers. Did we have foul trouble? When I looked back at ETSU's schedule last year, that is really impressive. Did they graduate a bunch of players? It does look like we may need to work on FTs.

Outsider, ETSU, lost about 90% of their scoring from last year. Don't get me wrong though, they picked up transfers from Maryland, Kansas St, SELA and SEMO. They will be a solid team, but today, our defense was too much for them
