Appears Mason is still out for this game.

Am I the only one watching this game? Cameron is mixing it up and scoring too. McLaughlin getting good minutes. Pleasant having a better game.

I am watching and we are playing a bit better... but UCA is not the toughest opponent. I was glad to see a few more minutes for some of our key players. Kohl really does change the nature of the game. Pretty surprising to see our Aussie play so well. I had not seen him play much this year.

this team can be so good if they can distribute the ball to everyone on the court, I know UCA isn't as tough as SFA or SHSU.

Bogey, I think you got your answer about Allen's minutes - Tobias Cameron having maybe his best game as a Wildcat. He's made a huge impact at both ends.

Tobias was the game changer in my mind. He brings so much energy, takes charges and creates havoc. He altered passes and got steals. Kohl played 14 1st half minutes and made a difference. All round better game and without Mason or Allen we still looked pretty sharp. It is going to be fun watching Steele, Richardson and McLaughlin develop over these next 4.5 years.

Don’t disagree as UCA’s 25 pt loss @ Arkansas came just ten days prior to our 13 pt L. That said, I think today indicates regressed. Meanwhile, losing Manny Allen to season-ending injury gives someone an opportunity to step up and I believe that someone's Tobias C. Here’s hoping Coryon’s back better than ever Wednesday night. BeatSFA!!

It does seem that the Cats shoot more freely once they have a lead. When they were up by 10 today, there was no looking back. I'm not sure how to get that confident play in a tighter game, but if the coaches find that magic, this has the makings of a pretty good team.

I don't follow the "regressed" statement. Help me.

I think what he means is UCA has regressed since we played a common opponent, Arkansas. UCA was without their starting PG today, which was significant. Would they have beaten us with him, no, but it caused Rylan B. to move to PG. Best thing about this team is the depth.
Someone earlier this week mentioned the way Coach Golding subs. In the 1st half, he has planned substitutions. Typically 2 minutes into the game, Simmons and Cameron come in and Pleasant and one of our guards come out. The next time, Kohl goes out and Pleasant comes back in. In the 2nd half, he lets the players go longer and there is no set substitution pattern.

BeatSFA!! Coryon is the most needed added link for SFA, I agree. If he is hale and hearty and on his game, we can do it. Kohl has improved a lot this season and can off-set some of SFA's inside game. They sure score a lot of points. Meanwhile our defense continues to be impressive. I guess we will see if we can slow down their scoring machines. My only complaint right now is still free throws -- well, I would love to see a return to early season 3 point percentage. We were a little better later in the game today.
