What a game. Overtime... UCLA had a win but did not foul and allowed a long three at the buzzer. Now we will see...

Bruins pull off a stunner and beat second seed Alabama.

I'm hoping UCLA wins it all so we can say we lost to the national champions.

I'm hoping UCLA wins it all so we can say we lost to the national champions. That would be really cool, but Gonzaga and Baylor both look very strong. Congrats to UCLA and their coach and players. They played the right game to beat Alabama. Watched the whole thing and several times thought 'Bama was going to pull away, but UCLA played very well in the pinch. In several ways, the Bruins win was unlikely but their game and players did all the needed things and pulled out a great win.

UCLA is showing amazing BB IQ, as well as poise/talent. It will be interesting to see just how far they go!

I noticed that Alabama struggled to score against the Bruins perimeter defense. We couldn’t do anything with it.

I am laying odds that after tonight, Michigan will be gone! UCLA’s defense will smother them also.

I would like to see that. Michigan has a brute of a team, but UCLA is really playing smart and fast. What a neat thing it would be to see Gonzaga and UCLA in the finals -- they both seem the most basketball savvy of the remaining teams. I like Baylor but they became a strange team last night. There was almost nothing on offense except one on one drives to the basket. They abandoned any semblance of an inside game or kicking the ball back to open shooters when the pressure was on. They play harassing defense and their rebounding (especially offensive) was impressive but Baylor's one dimensional offense, in a pinch, will not likely beat Gonzaga. Baylor looked like a bunch of guys trying out for the NBA and not like a cohesive team. UCLA may not have the horses to win against Michigan, but they play like a team and defend the perimeter very well. I guess it will depend on the huge strength of Michigan under the basket.
