Oklahoma has not opened the first game with much defense. Wild pitches and weak grounders have them in a 3-0 hole in the second. Just added... and then a crushed opposite field home run makes is 4-0 Ole Miss.

Through four the Ole Miss pitcher is dominate. He is throwing the kind of game that wins. He gets ahead and then dictates location and speed. Don't know if he can keep it up but so far OU has not even had one on base.

Ole Miss pitching has been exceptional. Not the Sooners finest hour, for sure.

Sunday's second game begins the same way... Ole Miss pitching is really strong. Oklahoma hitters look out of sync.

And, don’t give away free runs. Gotta appreciate Horton’s 3 hit 8+ inning performance. But it was not enough. Hats off to Miss. They are excellent champions.
