Since 2000, OU has beaten the ‘Horns 16 of 23 meetings including the last 4 in a row.
However, even a diehard Sooner like myself thinks the streak will probably end this year. Luckily, since the state of Texas allows anyone to carry a firearm from birth to death, the odds are still good that UT will find a way to shoot themselves in the foot.
We try to throw the Longhorns a bone every 5 years or so. I predict TX 35 OU 21. (Dang that’s painful)

UT is taking the whole tenderloin today, Sooners not even getting a bone... end of 3rd quarter it is 42 to nothing. Don't recall ever seeing such dominance. Maybe the Horns will put in some reserves and allow OU to score something in the 4th quarter. Ewers really does look like the best quarterback of his class. Glad he left Ohio State for UT.
Oh my, now third string running backs and it is now 49-0.

Great game for Texas fans. It would have been a waste for Ewer to spend a year or two playing backup at Ohio State.

I am puzzled by next year with Arch Manning coming in to Longhorn land and Ewers already making almost $4 million in NIL.
Another question is the security of the OU coach.

The "Don't be a Sooner, Horns up and phones down." signs around DFW were funny today. It took me a couple minutes and then started laughing as I was driving.

He’ll be fine. Ewers played very well today. The Horns are just better this year. And Gabriel in concussion protocol made it worse. Hats off to UT. Maybe Sarkesian is finally the coach to get them back in the national picture.
