Patience is fraying for Texas fans. The 'Horns just gave the Oklahoma State Cowboys a win. Bad play choices and poor defense. Sark has got to be feeling a little pressure. About an a minute to play and the Horns have committed 14 fouls and the Cowboys none.
I am ready for Arch Manning and maybe move Gary Patterson up to HC.

I have seen some talk of Arch Manning flipping to Tennessee. That would be a killer for Coack Sarkisian.

Yes, the Longhorn computer boards are boiling about UT's lack of performance. The theme is that Sark has "lost" the team. At the end of the game when tradition has it that the players and coaches stand and listen to the "Eyes" with Hook'Em held high, win or lose, there was about 1/3 of the team there and no coach Sark. Such behavior is not well received, in fact some are incensed about it. He likely really has lost the team. Ewers played like an average (at best) high school QB, and not a $4 million NIL star. At least Bijan stood high and gave a "hook'em." The big money behind UT is not going to accept such a badly run game. Sark is 10-10 at UT and 6 of those losses came after leading in the second half.
From Orange Bloods: "Kicker can’t kick, D can’t tackle, 5 star QB can’t hit the broad side of a barn… oh, and coaches can’t coach"

I have seen some talk of Arch Manning flipping to Tennessee. That would be a killer for Coack Sarkisian. Oh please, no. Ewers may someday be a superstar but he has yet to have a quarterback rating of 100 in any game, and scored a measly 47 in the OSU game. Indeed there is lots of talk on both sides of the Arch Manning future. Some say Tennessee is out as a possibility and others say almost any school could be in play.

Obviously something is wrong here. Someone at UT forgot to tell Mike Gundy that Texas is entitled to win. It is their birthright. Other teams are supposed to shudder and lay down for the mighty horns. I guess that a multi-million dollar QB (who played most of the game like a high school sophomore) and $50,000 linemen doesn't get you much these days. Probably inflation. So very sad. Maybe Sark can get some wealthy alums to put up some real money so that he can buy better players. Also looks like A & M didn't get too much value for their money either. Just a very sad state of affairs.

I imagine Sark has a big number buy out in his contract. Jimbo Fisher at A&M is in hotter water and his buy out is $100 million. There are disappointed Aggies and Longhorns.

No problem here. What's a couple of hundred million to buy a decent football team? After all, they are the cows and the agroids. I heard a rumor that both teams are being considered to play Slippery Rock in the Toilet Bowl. They just need to get three more wins. Could be a tough hill to climb.

On the other hand, there might be some big juicy transfers at the end of the season.

Not sure I want them if their attitude stays the same as the current fraction of the 'Horns that has given up. Based on Ewers' performance, I'll take Maverick. Oh, I would love to have Bijan before the Cowboys draft him and he gets mauled and hurt. Sorry, I could not resist. I am a Longhorn as well as a Wildcat, for that matter I have something hanging on the wall from the Boilermakers, but that was just a course where you could look out the window and see corn fields while we studied IR satellite imaging.

Excitement is back at Longhorn land. Arch Manning announced he is enrolling early at UT, skipping his second semester in high school. Apparently he was a star basketball player as well, having previous been on the state championship team. He is leaving early to learn Sark's offensive system. Now comes the questions... Ewers is the current quarterback and supposedly a super star as a first year student, but Manning looks like he intends to get started early in his UT football life. I have no idea how this will work out but I sort of doubt they will both hang around if one plays and the other does not.

Poor Aggies, they may not get a bowl game this year... They lost to KANSAS.

Longhorns and frogs in a battle of zero offenses, well into second quarter.
