The US Department of Energy awards special scholarships to outstanding students who are hoped to be major contributors to Nuclear Energy in the future. There are 31 Universities in the USA who had a student win a UNLP Scholarship. ACU students won FIVE (5) such awards to place in a fourth place tie for the most in the country. We tied for first in Texas with Texas A&M which already has two research reactors and is working with the ACU NEXT Lab project. This is truly high cotton for our University. We are playing in the Big Boy League as the only university in the nation with an application docketed for a molten salt research reactor, the safest and cleanest choice. It is rewarding that the DOE honors ACU students in this way.
Oh, ACU has the most in the nation amoung private universities!

Was watching KHOU news in Houston this evening and they had a segment about one Early College High School in HISD that had 20 Dell First Generation scholarship winners. Was pleasantly surprised when one of the 4 that spoke said he would be attending ACU.

That is great news. So many high achieving students are coming to ACU. It is a University on the move.

High achieving students have always come to ACU due to its unique benefits, opportunities, and atmosphere. I agree. It is only getting even better.
