Hope that Jermiah's sprained ankle is healing well. Also, Reese Young's shoulder and neck and Cooper McCasland's stomach muscle issue. We need all of them healthy. Am not aware of what other injuries that any of our guys are dealing with but feel sure that there must be some. 42’s neck issue from last year is, at least, fine.

This is not a criticism of our SID at all, they've actually exceeded my expectations in reporting about our many teams this fall but...I've followed our football program for almost 60 years (enrolled in 1965) and feel I know less about this team than any other in all those years. I don't know the players, I don't know the coaches, I don't know who is excelling, I don't know the why behind our offensive and defensive schemes. I'm just at a loss when it comes to what to expect. I guess that's how the football staff wants it, but it certainly doesn't engender any feelings of support from this fan other than cheering on my college team and waiting to see results on social media. I don't consider myself a casual fan nor will I jump ship due to a poor game or season. I dig and research and question, that's who I am. But I just have no feelings or knowledge about what's happening with this team. Am I in left field to feel this way? I hope for the best with really no basis for that hope.

Bogey, hope you are doing well. I would encourage you to connect with Sam or Zack on this. I think if they hear/realize enough fans are frustrated it could cause things to change.

I think with the transfer portal and players in and out so much, we just aren't expected to feel personal towards players and teams anymore. Players certainly don't feel personal towards fans or the school they play for anymore.

I was in Idaho this week and my hotel was hosting the radio talk show for the Idaho Vandals, interviewing the head coach, an assistant coach, and a player. I talked to the talk show host and another guy who worked for the station and they told me Idaho will be coming down to Abilene next season. This isn't on ACU's website yet, but I did confirm it on Idaho's site. Idaho is now ranked #3 (Stats Perform). That's going to be another challenging game next year.

How can you watch the Keith Patterson Show? A week ago we were told it would be up on ESPN+ the day after the SUU game, and now it is the day after the UT game and there is still no Keith Patterson Show. Maybe I just don't know where to go to watch it. Help!

Maybe I just don't know where to go to watch it. Help! It is indeed there on ESPN+, it's just not listed as an on-demand option like the Coach Goodenough or Coach Tanner shows. You actually have to go into ESPN+ and search Keith Patterson ACU or Keith Patterson show ACU, etc...

Whoa, The Washington Post just ran an article about Texas A&M and Aggie malcontent with Jumbo Fisher and his $75 million dollar contract (and $9 million dollar salary this year.) Aggies are at the edge of doing something. Unfortunately we have to go play them at a time when they are demanding performance from their coach. The article links the price of oil in the Permian with the possibility of firing Jumbo and paying him off.
p.s. I do not subscribe to the Washington Post but read the article from another source.

Maybe he and the team are discombobbled and we win Hate to wish bad luck on anyone, but I would be exceedingly happy if they lose to our Wildcats. That would be the football equivalent of our BB team beating Texas!

I wanted to make a comment on the A&M game in retrospect. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The alumni tailgate was very nice, and experiencing Corps of Cadets march into the stadium was a lot of fun. I thought to myself, seeing ACU play in Kyle Field was something beyond my wildest dreams as an alumnus. We actually got their attention with the fumble run back and drawing first blood. Overall the team played with all their hearts which is as much as can be asked. A&M has won seven games including ours, three by margins than ours, New Mexico, University of Louisiana at Monroe, and Mississippi State the week before. All of those are FBS teams. Go Cats!
