Just for fun, lets look at what has happened to recruiting classes since we turned D1: 2013 D.J. Arnold, DB. Part time starter and integral part of secondary rotation since his freshman year. Quinton Baker, DB. Contributor for 3 years. De'andre Brown, RB. In line to be a 4 year starter after a redshirt in 2013 All Conference. Quentin Bryant, DB. Starter as RS So. Sam Fodale, C, No longer with the team. Cedric Gilbert, WR, 2 year starter after a RS year in 2013. All Conference Randy Gober, RB, 5-8, 185, 3rd string RB. Nik Grau, P / PK, 6-1, 195, Injured 2015, but started both 2013 and 2014. Josh Hailey, No longer on the team. Gabe Hernandez, No longer on the team. Austin Hisler, OL, 6-4, 250. Starting Center as RS So. Josh McKinnies, No longer on the team Riley Mayfield, OL. Medical Redshirt. Started as RS Fr. Could be a 4 year starter. Pre season all conference. Kade Munden. Reserve QB and WR Chance Rieken, OL, On track to be a 4 year starter after a RS freshman year. Herschel Sims, RB. Integral part of dynamic rb duo. Hayden Wall, OL. Part time starter and part of rotation at C and G Will Weathers, QB. Switched to FB as a rs SO 18 Signed. 4 no longer with the team.

Wow, that 2013 class looks really good! So many from that class are serious contributors to this team with many high school recruits being 3 or 4 year starters, and the juco transfers playing significant roles for a couple years.

Didn't know where to post this but I saw that Terry Ausborne is committed to go to UL-Monroe after a year at Trinity Valley. For what it's worth, the new head coach at Monroe was the previous head coach at McNeese.
