Wright has picked up offers from New Mexico State and San Diego State. Sure hope we get a visit but I have seen nothing to indicate that we are on his list.

Everybody look at the Hudl video of Triston Crossland from Calallen. 6'4" 225 WIDE RECEIVER. Why is this kid still available? He looks like a "hoss" to me.

There's gotta be some kind of catch here. A kid that big playing WR and his only offer so far is TAMUK?

There's gotta be some kind of catch here. A kid that big playing WR and his only offer so far is TAMUK? I think it is because south Texas is frequently overlooked by FBS programs. There is just soooo much talent in this state that coaches from big schools don't have to look beyond 5 and 4A in major market areas. That leaves a lot of under the radar players for schools like ACU to dig out.

And I don't say that to dismiss his skills, I was impressed with his hudl video, but why aren't college coaches?

Plus a lot of times coaches are the ones that encourage schools to recruit their players. Why wouldn't his coaching staff be helping him out by letting schools know that they got a kid that deserves some attention.

Did you see his bio on Twitter: "Not good enough for a D1 scholarship." He has to be hurting. I sure wish he would visit ACU. I would be surprised if our coaches did not offer him, unless there are things going on that we don't know about.

Wow! I believe Crossland would thrive at ACU, all things being equal. Don't know the particulars and as I said originally I can't understand why a kid with the highlights he put up on his Hudl film was still not committed to a school. If I was a coach I'd be following up with calls and a visit.

What jumps out to me is his motor. He is RELENTLESS to the ball no matter where he is at on the field, you gotta love seeing effort like that. Would be interesting to see how he develops because he won't be playing with his hand in the dirt at ACU like he is in high school. If he puts on around 25 pounds he could be a solid OLB with edge rushing ability. If he can't hold that weight then maybe a SS. He appears to be pretty athletic but who knows how comfortable he would be in the secondary.

Another one! No idea who though. Coaches can't name names. None of the guys I follow have tweeted they are ACU commits. Looks like another one for he D because of the Blackhaze reference but that does not say much.
Kendrick Holloway @kholloway_ACU Protected Tweets 50m BLACKHAZE that one is huge!!!!!!
Could we be bumping up against the scholarship limit? We can only sign 25. I know of 14 and another 4 or so that coaches have tweeted about but aren't identified. Looks like we have 7 max, unless we can back count mid term enrollments against last years total.

WR Donald Moore from Houston Bush visited San Jose State this weekend. He still plans to visit ACU next weekend. Donald's identical twin brother Ronals picked up offers from Vanderbilt and TCU. Washington State and BYU had already offered. Donald tweets: "I'm frustrated. What am I a scrub?" Must be frustrating.
