Any new injuries to report for this game? I continue to be impressed with the hard running of Tyrese White and Anthony Smith. Davion Johnson has surprised too. I think he is somewhat limited as a receiver because of the hand or arm injury but runs with a purpose. Seems to be the only offensive player we have with speed. I still think if we could open up the middle with some intermediate passing both our running game and passes over the middle to TE's or RB's would benefit. I would love to see us attack down the field more.

Bogey, I too have been impressed with the hard running of Tyrese this season -- he looks like the Tyrese of 2019 now. Anthony Smith has been a solid back for ACU as well. Jermiah Dobbins appears to have taken a step backwards, but I still think he will end up being huge for ACU in the coming years. I would say he is having a sophomore slump, but due to the COVID redshirt in 2020, Jermiah is technically a RS-Fr with three more years to go.

I find it interesting that less than 24 hrs from kickoff, there has not been a single post about this game.

I am staying in Oxford, AL not far from Jacksonville eagerly waiting for the game, still optimistic we can can get a win. The ACU team arrived at Birmingham Airport within the last hour

I think Jacksonville St poses enormous problems for the Wildcats today. The script is the same: QB with a great arm that can break the pocket with his feet, strong receiving core, playmakers on D. That said, Jacksonville St. is no Sam Houston. They were just humbled by the Bearcats. The Gamecocks are very turnover-prone.
I guess they are riding the momentum of beating Florida St. to join Conference USA. Since their major story is moving up to FBS, maybe they'll forget about their opponent today. The Wildcats need a perfect team-oriented performance to cancel out the athleticism disparity at a few positions.
Jacksonville State by 17.

Since that game, each of our last three opponents have have been rumored or accepted invites to FBS conferences. Let’s ruin someone’s season.
