Count me as a fan who thinks Josie should have started the game so that she could run through the gauntlet with the spotlights on her once during her career here. Paige could have come in at the first stoppage. Josie might even have gotten to fire up a rainbow one last time.

Glad they got the win. The tourney will be a gauntlet, so hope the ladies have figured something out. Right now Lamar is trying to hang on to their win with McNeese and SHSU is struggling against SFA.

That would be nice. A win is a win and 64-55 is a win. I want to see us increase that margin in Katy. It is time for momentum to see how far our women can go.

Not sure how you play 5 games in five days, which is what I heard the announcers say was ahead for us. Glad we have been playing with more depth this year.

I might have figured this wrong but using the points system, we may be the 7th seed.

Cattitude, I absolutely agree with you. Josie should have started! In the era of the transfer portal, nice to see a player stay for 4 years, knowing she wasn't going to play much. I see Josie at church every Sunday (she serves in our kids ministry) and I've never heard her complain.
I'll add that Taylor Morgan played great today. She is our future at the point

I guess I did not realize that Diamond is no longer on the team.

I guess I did not realize that Diamond is no longer on the team. I asked the coaches about that last week and got a no-answer answer. But I thought that might be the case. Shame. She's such a terrific young woman. On the bright side, perhaps it opens a scholarship for McKinney next year.....

It does open up a scholarship that I expect the staff to fill. Might be McKinney, but it might be someone else too. I would actually expect it to be a post player that they will be looking for. Our only post with a lot of college experience will be Griswold

Is Mabry still injured?

She was still in street clothes during the last game, while sitting on the bench, and there was no mention of her coming back.
