Not announced as of yet, but Drew Cunningham has been added to the staff. I know he was one of the coordinators at Anna this past year One of ACU's former Center's is on the School Board at Anna ISD. I know he is pretty close to the football program, especially as his sons are in high school football. I'll see what he says.
Update - I heard back from Clark and he confirmed that Coach Cunningham left a few weeks back for ACU. Drew was his son's linebacker coach so he knew him pretty well. Clark thought he was a great dude and a really smart defensive coach. Pretty high praise from a Dad that was a 4 year starter at ACU and knows a good bit about football himself.

One if the take aways about recruiting- the staff identified first choice picks at various positions and made a concerted effort to recruit them. Looking at our signing day, given the limited time they had to recruit they had a fair amount of success signing our first choices. This approach appears to differ from the previous staff which made a lot more offers at various positions rather than focusing on a select few.

We have a very good blend of experience and younger coaches. Patterson, Lee, and Phillips have 20-30 yrs of experience. Pugh and Thrash are young but experienced. Add Cassidy and all the young guys like Wilson, Badon, Clark, Dubin, Carter, etc. Such a good blend. I wonder how the salaries have been structured, especially for the older guys?
