I know Peyton a bit. I can guarantee that he asked for the move. I think he will begin playing a lot on special teams. I’m far removed from the program but I just had a feeling he asked to move. He’s too god an athlete to be sitting on the bench for his final year….think Remember The Titans. Good point. At the very least, I think it was a joint decision. He wants to be on the field and the coaches see an opportunity. Who approached who we will probably never know.

According to the 247sports talent composite we’re the 127th most talented roster in the entire nation. Ahead of FBS schools like Connecticut and New Mexico State and FCS contenders like Sam Houston, Northern Iowa, Montana and James Madison. It doesn’t really mean much at our level but it’s cool to see that. 247sports.com/Season/2022-Football/CollegeTeamTalentComposite/

Speaking of 4*, what’s up with Ghirmai? Is he hurt or just getting beat out.

The last day or so on this thread really shows how much better the new staff has recruited really well. Multiple new players starting and several true Freshmen in the 2-deep.

There are a couple of teams missing, I take it that their transition isn't complete? Tarleton and Utah Tech. As it is, below are the ranking for both the WAC and the ASUN. WAC #127 ACU #138 SHSU #151 SFA #188 Southern Utah ASUN #131 JSU #133 EKU #154 AP #157 UNA #169 UCA #211 KSU
