We need to stay in the WAC and play against teams from Utah. The exposure is fantastic. I have heard that there are literally tens of thousands of young Mormons in Utah wanting to come to ACU. Could just be a false rumor.

I bought a whole jar of spongy ear plugs and try to carry at least four of them to ACU sporting events. I secretly think our sound system people are in cahoots with some of those hearing aid types that keep sending me mail. It bothers me to see young kids getting their hearing hammered. Hearing loss is a serious thing.

It is my opinion that the ultra loud "music" and other noise at the events is one of the primary reasons that the students are flocking to the games by the thousands and never leave early. They just can't stay away or leave. It almost seems magic. Guess I could be wrong.

I have watched them and also been to numerous big time arenas (both college and pro) and games. However, the loud music and noise comments, going back many months were about the football games, not basketball.

Both SFA and the SLC have their new FB schedules out already. SFA replaced us with NSU. SFA also cancelled their non-conference game with MSU, but MSU has already replaced their game with new (NEC) DI Mercyhurst. Funny thing is that MSU has already sent out official announcements of the cancellation and game reschedule. Our website still has the SFA game scheduled and nothing.....................
