Very obnoxious game per usual for us. We play to the level of our competition whether it be discipline or miscommunication or poor focus.

Yes, defense is a weak link but our offense lost this game. We forgot our identity and started throwing deep passes with little chance of being complete. We score once in the 2nd half. We have 2 backs with over 80 yds rushing at the half and hardly let them sniff the ball in the 2nd half. Our defense has been on the field forever because our offense was impotent.

Last week, ACU gets that "signature win" and look like we are finally turning the corner. Then, we implode in a game where we simply did not look motivated all night. Their DB's were very effective downfield for most of the evening. We still have a chance to win the UAC, but we still have some really tough games to go.

We are not going to win the conference, we are not going to the playoffs, we will not finish the season ranked. I don’t know why I ever believed any of that was possible. This team got exposed.

It was an embarrassing showing in every aspect. I am now awaiting basketball season. This was indeed a crushing feeling. How could we play such a game is a mystery.

That Top 10 ranking was fun while it lasted...
Glad I had a symphony concert to attend tonight and didn't have to suffer through watching the game. Keeping up with the score was depressing enough.

We played like we expected to win but without the necessary urgency. Our conference is proving that it is hard to be up every week. Central Arkansas had to squeak out a win at home against West Georgia.
Credit to the North Alabama coaches for finding a winning formula: running the ball wide and the quarterback up the middle. I can't understand why the Cats couldn't make adjustments.
And if we don't solve the penalty problem, the Cats will lose more games this year.

The inexcusable thing was we had 12 penalties, four times more than UNA.

Are there new rules this year that forbid running the ball in the second half and setting corners on defense?
