The last one is especially nice to look at. To see our name up their among those ranks is impressive no matter how long it lasts.

Great W Wildcats... 3-0 against D1 teams to start the season is very nice! Good job Joe and boys! Not a bottom feeder in the group either, All 3 of our opponents were from conferences with higher NET and RPI ratings than the Southland - Summit, SoCon, and Ohio Valley-and all have a history of success. AP was ranked in the top 25 in at least 3 mid major preseason polls,

I never thought, knowing the history of the game and those national championships of the past, that I would ever see ACU basketball ranked above UCLA... We need to frame that RPI rating. Take a picture and show it when recruiting. Imagine, 82 places higher than Texas Tech and higher even than Baylor. Let's enjoy it while we have it -- sublime.

I'll save it! Let's go Wildcats!

Playing TTU and ARK in the next couple of weeks will help keep our RPI fairly high regardless of the outcomes. As we all know, however, early season RPI is weird.

Ken Pom has us at 127 and Massey at 128. The Massey rating is up 126 places.

Ken Pom has us at 127 and Massey at 128. The Massey rating is up 126 places. No doubt the "temporary" ranking by RPI will erode but I fully agree some of the games coming up with some big named schools will not hurt our ranking very much, even with a loss. What is really important to me is the Southland Conference berth at year end. If we get back to the NCAA big time tournament, people might realize that last time was not a freak happening and we are a serious mid-major basketball school This year's team has the potential to confirm (I hope) our place as a very good, maybe dangerous, basketball place.

They should be celebrated along with their teammates. Salutes to all. I got a little worried when Omaha jumped ahead of us but boy what a nice response.

The other three deserve to be selected, all played great throughout tournament. Would have been shocked if those three weren't selected

Take that, Kansas. Bring it in lowly ranked Duke. How sweet it is. Enjoy this lofty ranking for the minute and half it lasts.
