I’ll believe it when I see Lamar warming up at Wildcat Stadium

I sure hope we didn't have to pay them to come. Bail from the conference at the last minute and then get paid to play a game you were originally scheduled to play as a conference game?

I hope the game holds out and we didn't have to pay. Glad that we were able to keep it. Agree that this was the best option; a winnable DI game and keeps plans in place. Moody is finally coming along, so can't wait to be able to see it.

The SLC released their “conference” schedule today. Some games are designated as non-conference. I noticed that UIW does not have SLC game on October 22nd. That game might still be happening. As for the WAC schools that had UIW scheduled may have to find games, but as far as scheduling is concerned, this is the best case scenario for ACU.

I am also not seeing any ASUN games. What happened to the alliance?

Playing SFA twice won't be the same as playing Lamar twice! Again, kudos to Zach Lassiter for filling in the schedule quickly.
Now, my next wish is that revised heights and weights will hit the ACU roster by the start of fall practice. I visited with Will Morgan on campus a few weeks ago and there is no way that he "only" weighs 292, as it states on the roster. The guy is huge and looks fit -- he has to be weighing in the 320 range.

I am also not seeing any ASUN games. What happened to the alliance? The decision to continue the WAC-ASUN Alliance was made after schedules were completed. The league champion will be determined by a formula of some sort rather than inter divisional play line last year. Kennesaw is the prohibitive favorite, with SFA the runner up.

Full WAC schedule released: And Sam is stuck at 9 games. At least we have 11 games with 10 games counting. I will be happy when all of our games count.
