Could that stud be Frank Kee? Hope that our sharp eyed reporters look for a 6'4" 340 lb OG standing on the sideline tonight at Shotwell.

Sadly, no one of that size. There were murmurs, however, of a transfer lineman ... Don't know if it's fact or wishful thinking.

I saw from an earlier tweet that the "stud" was Qualls. Also, as you've probably read Kee is on his way. Guess he will not be here until next week.

Yep, Frank Kee is already listed on the ACU roster that was updated over the weekend. No pic yet, but I don't think he gets on campus until Monday (tomorrow).

Apparently he played both ways in hs and played some dline at Tyler, so there's that to build on. It will be interesting to see how fast he picks up our defensive schemes.

Do any of you locals know anything about Douglas Wilson? Here is what I know-- WR who played at Abilene HS (2014 graduate) and signed with Texas Tech. He left the Red Raiders fb team this past week and is looking for a place to transfer for next year. He's still attending classes at Tech this fall, but could transfer as early as mid-term. He's RS-Freshman who is buried in the depth chart under a new offensive coordinator. I know we are checking him out, but he has also been contacted by TCU, and has friends who play at Hardin Simmons who are encouraging him to go there. Apparently Wilson heard some negative (and false, as far as I know) stuff about ACU's coaches and did not look at us coming out of HS.

Who would spread false info about our coaches and who would believe such things without checking them out first. Ahh! The age of D1 recruiting. We have arrived!!!

Probably a home town boy who thinks he's big time. Might be more willing to talk now.

Luke Skipper, a 6'3" 200lb quarterback from Forney High School (twitter @lukeskipper7), reports receiving his first offer from ACU. I have been watching his stats because Coach Collums followed him on Twitter a couple months ago, and he has been performing well this season. www.hudl.com/athlete/1934148/highlights/204070398/v2

I might be mistaken but I think Skipper attended ACU's summer camp so the coaches know this guy.
