Bo Lott has pretty decent speed - he won the District 1-3A 100 with a 10.74. He usually runs in the low 11's - he ran a 11.2 at the regional meet and missed going to state. He did go to state in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. Childress has a good track program. In the picture on twitter, both Bo and Garrett Stephens must be signing some kind of informal letter of intent. I do think that ACU may have offered some money to Bo in track, but the signing window for track and field does not reopen until April 12.
Oh, I am pretty sure that Bo's Dad went to ACU.

Are they signing for baseball (as the tweet indicates) or football or track?

I think it is for football as well, but the tweet came from CHildress Baseball. The one time for Bo Lott in the 100 is pretty solid (10.74), but most of his times are in the low 11's - not good enough for a scholarship, but certainly good enough to warrant a walkon shot. That one 10.74 could give him a chance to get a smaller scholarship in track, particularly when ACU needs sprinting depth.

It looks like the names of the walk ons have been released. Most names have been known but there are some new ones.

I love that they are putting the walkon names out there early. Don't think I have ever seen that done at ACU.

Angel Carrillo, Clayton Cooper and Chandler Williams are named I haven't heard before. Carrillo is a 6' 170 OLB/MLB from Chapin. Maybe he'll be moved to S. Clayton Cooper is a K from Dulles. Williams is a 5'8 215 FB/DE from Lewisville.

Carrillo's film is entertaining. He lays some good hits. Too small LB as is but he is aggressive. Could be interesting.

Depends on how athletic he is as to whether or not he can play safety. That or put on 20-30 pounds.

Cornerback CJ Wall just tweeted that he was accepted at Princeton and will be playing football there. #bigrecruitingloss

Man that's a big loss. Hard to fault him for choosing Princeton though.
