I have been trying to make sense of the participation report and here Mavsman may be able to help. I could have sworn that Dax Neece played in the game, but he is not on the participation report. According to the participation report neither of our deep snappers played in the game -- Stone or Inness. From your standpoint, are their any other glaring omissions from the participation report. (I have already assumed that Kobe Clark started the game at WR, instead of Jackson Young, the freshman WR -- as was reported in the participation report).
Edit: I also see that Landon Eades is not on the participation report, but I know that I saw him get a lot of playing time.

I’m curious to know if we think that we are better and played better compared to the Angelo game last year, OR, is UTPB really not as good of a D2 team as suggested. I think they had some guys that could play, but clearly we had a better outcome than last year’s LSC matchup. IMO, UTPB is not as good as Angelo last year. However, they are pretty close and should win 8 or 9 games. What is obvious to me is that we are quite a bit better.

I don't think they were that much below ASU. I was impressed with a lot of their play.

I thought UTPB on paper looked comparable to Angelo State, but the Rams really came to play against ACU last year. I would think that team would give the Falcons all sorts of problems. And I'm not really sure why UTPB stopped blitzing as they were early in the game. Once things started going against them, they retreated into a shell a bit. At least that's what it seemed to me.
The RBs and LBs for Angelo State were on a different level than the Falcons.
