Defensive backs are still supposed to cover receivers, correct??? Did I miss a rule change or anything?

Now what is that big white bird that sings a song. It's name rhymes with "Dawn" or "Lawn."

SFA had immediate answer, 41-20 At this point, I would take a delayed reaction, IF we could learn to stop them or slow them down.

Ok, got my delayed reaction. Can we do the other thing?

We are tied 21-21 in second half scoring. SFA has been answering each of our scores though.

The offense is at 299 now, and we've put a few points on the board. The problem is more on the defensive side of the board. To stop the short passes that gave them easy drives in the first half, we've put some coverage in place. But that opened up the other receivers and the running game (which we've never really shut off).

ACU was moving the ball pretty well, but Mansell threw a poor pass to a double teamed receiver and it was picked off.

We just accomplished a key 3 and out. Can we answer back offensively? And what kind of plays will we call in the situation? A deep post on 2nd and 1? Into double coverage? We are going to hear about winning the turnover battle for 7 days. The best way to overcome bad turnovers is better decisions.

Well, it looked like ACU was trying to make it a one-score game when Peyton was intercepted. I am following on Live Stats, but there must have been a flicker of hope when we were driving pretty well before that last INT.
